Carbo Medicinalis VP contains the active ingredient activated carbon. The drug allows substances such as intestinal gases and toxic substances to be absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract by binding bacterial toxins. The drug blocks reabsorption of substances that are excreted into the intestines.

Contraindications

Do not take:

  • if you are allergic to activated charcoal or any of the other ingredients of this product;
  • if the patient is unconscious and at the same time the respiratory tract is capable of being obstructed.
